These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LuvCause mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by LuvCause LLC ("LuvCause," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use LuvCause's dating, messaging, and matching features. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
NGO partners and organizations must be authorized representatives of their organization to register and host events on the platform.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as needed.
You may not create more than one account, impersonate others, or use another person's account without permission.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
- Solicit money, personal financial information, or engage in scams
- Promote violence, discrimination, or hate speech
- Share sexually explicit content involving minors or exploit children in any way
- Spam, scrape, or use automated tools to access the Service
- Circumvent security measures or access unauthorized areas
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post on the Service. By posting content, you grant LuvCause a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Service.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines without prior notice.
5. NGO Events
Organizations hosting events on LuvCause are responsible for the accuracy of event information, compliance with applicable laws, and the safety of attendees at their events. LuvCause is a platform and does not organize or guarantee events listed by third parties.
6. Moderation & Termination
We reserve the right to review, remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to our community. We may take action without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
LuvCause is not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the platform. You interact with other users at your own risk. We encourage meeting in public places and exercising caution.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LuvCause LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LuvCause LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
